We're Teenagers

Yup, we're teens. We wake up regretting what we did the last night before. We obsess over one person. We dream unrealistic, amazing, crazy, mind boggling, luxurious dreams. We break the rules. We fall in love not knowing the consequences. That's ok though. I mean what will we have to talk about when we're older? And these years, are the years you're gonna want to remember. People say we're too young to love. But, do they remember when they fell in love? I wake up sometimes thinking that I'm screwed and am never gonna be able to go in public again. Sometimes, I climb out of my window at night just to see the guy I like at a party, even though he'll never talk to me. I dream of doing amazing things. Thats life. You're going to have regrets, but do the things you love. Sometimes we lose ourselves in the things we love but, we find ourselves there too.

Don't die wondering

Yeah, its true they all start listening when your dead. Why? Its because they think they can control your life in some way now and when your gone they realize that it was your life, that you should have chose what you wanted. Thats my opinion at least, comment yours. Also if you want me to make a post about something ask in the comments. I'm here to listen. This part of the song is so true though, my parents want me to become a doctor or something with a great salary. My cousin? He said he'll get furious if he finds out I'm going for an art degree because its "hard to make into the business" and sometimes you don't get "paid enough." Well you know what I have to say to that? I can do whatever I want, I know its hard to make it in art and music but, why can't I try? I'd rather try then settle with what they want me to do. If I don't get paid enough I'll figure out how to make ends meet but wait and watch, you'll see my name in the newspapers someday. I recommend everyone goes for what they want in life, because you shouldn't die wondering.

There's a spark in you

Yea, you can't let anyone dull your sparkle. I haven't been posting a lot, sorry its just that life hasn't been easy, but since when is it ever? I know someones looking at this cause I see the page views but please comment so I know at least someones listening. I posted this because I feel that a lot of people overlook your sparkle, they see everyone else's but you seem to be invisible. The smallest sparks though can cause the biggest fire. Don't let anyone make you think that you don't have that spark, you just have to make your sparkle bigger, by expressing yourself.  All those kids who are underestimated, they're the ones that are going to make it far.

Difference between giving up and knowing when you've had enough

Exactly. I've actually experienced that. I mean really. People take me for granted so much. One girl, she likes this band thats supposedly "emo." So? Music is music. You can't judge someone like that. Well her friends kept calling her that and she has the rivalry with me. But, one day she told me how she felt and I felt horrible for her. So little naive me made her a card and comforted her every single day. Then her friends became her friends again. She left. Just like that. Didn't say a word to me, got jealous, and said some pretty rude stuff after she was done with the whole silent treatment. Then one day she came to me with a problem. I was frankly hurt enough by her and mad that she just used me and thinks she can do it again. So I told her this. "Listen, I don't want to be mean but a while ago I did help, but you left and used me. I'm no one's second choice. Bye." Hard, but you have to do it, cause you have to respect yourself enough to.

Mirror Mirror

This really gets to me, I don't know why. Maybe it cause I'm just like the girl who kept on trying, yet I'm also the girl who can't stop crying sometimes. Everyone has to cry, it doesn't mean their weak, infact it means they've been strong for way to long. I love the mirror mirror part, I love Disney princesses. They all have a happy ending. My favorite princesses would have to be Ariel and Rapunzel. They both fought for their dreams the hardest. Rapunzel wanted to see the lights and went for it. Ariel just wanted to know what it was like to be human and she went and did it. They both did what they wanted and I want to do that someday. Not see the lights or be human (even though I already am one) but, do what I want to do in life.

Intro

Hey guys I deleted the intro post because I felt that it didn't say enough. Let me start it over. This blog is about being a teenager and the problems we face. I'm doing this because I am a teenager and know what its like to be one. I'm your average teenage girl, my name's Rayne. I have huge dreams and big passions to go with it. I don't really have a talent, and I'm no prodigy. I love video games. I'm underestimated a lot.  If you came to my school and looked around you wouldn't really notice me. I'm not in the popular group where everyone looks at first. I'm a huge bookworm, I love books and spend a lot of time in the library. I have really overprotective parents and I'm not allowed to do a lot of things. Music is my escape from all the drama. I have a couple of real friends. I have one really cool best friend. She's the total opposite of me. I underestimate myself too. I want to be in a band someday cause I just love to sing and play the guitar. I also want to be a fashion designer. I'm smart but not the smartest person ever. I love to make people laugh. My tears can be the reason for some one's laugh but my laugh will never be the cause of some one's tears. I'm a perfectionist and a big neat freak. That sums some of me up. I hope you like this blog!

Music only makes me stronger

So true I don't know what I would do without music in my life it got me through so much. Some singers sing what they feel and sometimes you can relate to that song. You realize that you aren't alone. That everyone has problems in life. Sometimes you feel as if there singing to you. Like in taylor swift's song "change" it feels as if she's singing to me. One direction's "little things" song is so sweet and you realize your not the only girl who has to "squeeze into her skinny jeans." Demi lovato's song "skyscraper" reaches out to people who are hurt and don't know what to do. Cher lloyd's song "want you back" well, I know a lot of people that can relate to that, even I can. Some people don't realize music's importance and how it gets people through life. Music isn't just for fun it reaches out to people.
